Version checks

  • Available on npm, latest 1.0.9 · checked

Not run yet – package checks are being switched on. It runs from a package on your machine, so instead of uptime we will start each new version in our sandbox.

How we check

Run it on your machine

Run in a terminal:

codex mcp add wp-mcp --env LOCAL_USERNAME=YOUR_LOCAL_USERNAME --env WP_DB_HOST=YOUR_WP_DB_HOST --env WP_DB_NAME=YOUR_WP_DB_NAME --env WP_DB_USER=YOUR_WP_DB_USER --env WP_DB_PASSWORD=YOUR_WP_DB_PASSWORD -- npx -y @rnaga/[email protected] local start

Replace YOUR_LOCAL_USERNAME,YOUR_WP_DB_HOST,YOUR_WP_DB_NAME,YOUR_WP_DB_USER,YOUR_WP_DB_PASSWORD with your own values.

For agents: the install prompt

Every step above as one Markdown text, for an assistant installing it for you.

# Install the MCP server WordPress MCP Server (`io.github.rnaga/wp-mcp`)

Its page: https://plug.directory/servers/io.github.rnaga/wp-mcp

It runs on the person's machine and needs Node.js installed.

Ask the person for `YOUR_LOCAL_USERNAME`, `YOUR_WP_DB_HOST`, `YOUR_WP_DB_NAME`, `YOUR_WP_DB_USER`, `YOUR_WP_DB_PASSWORD` and put it in place of the placeholder; never invent a value.

Use the section for the person's client.
