What you need first

Steps
- Run this in a terminal. It writes the server into
~/.codex/config.toml, which the Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share.
codex mcp add mcp-apple-music --env APPLE_TEAM_ID=YOUR_APPLE_TEAM_ID --env APPLE_KEY_ID=YOUR_APPLE_KEY_ID --env APPLE_PRIVATE_KEY=YOUR_APPLE_PRIVATE_KEY --env APPLE_MUSIC_USER_TOKEN=YOUR_APPLE_MUSIC_USER_TOKEN -- uvx mcp-apple-music-server==1.3.0 - Replace
YOUR_APPLE_TEAM_ID,YOUR_APPLE_KEY_ID,YOUR_APPLE_PRIVATE_KEY,YOUR_APPLE_MUSIC_USER_TOKENwith your own values. - Start Codex again and type
/mcp: the server is listed.
