Install Icloud Calendar in Cline

What you need first

  • Cline, installed.
  • Node.js, which gives the npx command the server starts with.
  • Your own values for YOUR_ICLOUD_USERNAME,YOUR_ICLOUD_PASSWORD.

Steps

  1. In Cline, open the MCP Servers icon, then the Configure tab, and choose Configure MCP Servers. It opens cline_mcp_settings.json.
  2. Add this block. If the file already has mcpServers, add only the entry inside it.
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "icloud-calendar-mcp": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "@icloud-calendar-mcp/[email protected]"],
      "env": { "ICLOUD_USERNAME": "YOUR_ICLOUD_USERNAME", "ICLOUD_PASSWORD": "YOUR_ICLOUD_PASSWORD" }
    }
  }
}
  1. Replace YOUR_ICLOUD_USERNAME,YOUR_ICLOUD_PASSWORD with your own values.
  2. Save the file. Cline reloads it and lists the server under MCP Servers.

Check it worked

Ask Cline: List the tools of icloud-calendar-mcp.

If it does not start

spawn npx ENOENT
Node.js is not on the PATH that Cline sees. Install it, or write the full path of npx in the config.
The server starts, but its tools fail
A YOUR_… placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong.
Nothing changes after a restart
The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
