Install Netra in LM Studio
What you need first
- LM Studio, installed.
- Docker, which
gives the
dockercommand the server starts with. - Your own values for
YOUR_NETRA_URL,YOUR_NETRA_API_KEY.
Steps
- In LM Studio, open the Program tab and choose Install › Edit mcp.json.
- Add this block. If the file already has
mcpServers, add only the entry inside it.
{
"mcpServers": {
"netra": {
"command": "docker",
"args": ["run", "-i", "--rm", "-e", "NETRA_URL", "-e", "NETRA_API_KEY", "ghcr.io/zyvorai/netra-mcp:0.32.0"],
"env": { "NETRA_URL": "YOUR_NETRA_URL", "NETRA_API_KEY": "YOUR_NETRA_API_KEY" }
}
}
} - Replace
YOUR_NETRA_URL,YOUR_NETRA_API_KEYwith your own values. - Save the file and restart LM Studio.
Check it worked
Ask LM Studio: List the tools of netra.
If it does not start
- Cannot connect to the Docker daemon
- Docker is not running. Start it, then restart LM Studio.
- The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
