Install D365fo Connector in Codex
What you need first
- Codex, installed.
- Node.js, which
gives the
npxcommand the server starts with. - Your own values for
YOUR_D365_TENANT_ID,YOUR_D365_CLIENT_ID,YOUR_D365_CLIENT_SECRET,YOUR_D365_ENVIRONMENT_URL.
Steps
- Run this in a terminal. It writes the server into
~/.codex/config.toml, which the Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share.
codex mcp add d365fo-connector --env D365_TENANT_ID=YOUR_D365_TENANT_ID --env D365_CLIENT_ID=YOUR_D365_CLIENT_ID --env D365_CLIENT_SECRET=YOUR_D365_CLIENT_SECRET --env D365_ENVIRONMENT_URL=YOUR_D365_ENVIRONMENT_URL -- npx -y @zhound/[email protected] - Replace
YOUR_D365_TENANT_ID,YOUR_D365_CLIENT_ID,YOUR_D365_CLIENT_SECRET,YOUR_D365_ENVIRONMENT_URLwith your own values. - Start Codex again and type
/mcp: the server is listed.
