  1. Run this in a terminal, in the project folder. It adds the server for you in that project; put --scope user after claude mcp add to have it in every project.
claude mcp add --env CPQ_ACCESS_KEY=YOUR_CPQ_ACCESS_KEY --env CPQ_PUBLIC_KEY=YOUR_CPQ_PUBLIC_KEY --env CPQ_PRIVATE_KEY=YOUR_CPQ_PRIVATE_KEY --transport stdio connectwise-cpq-mcp -- docker run -i --rm -e CPQ_ACCESS_KEY -e CPQ_PUBLIC_KEY -e CPQ_PRIVATE_KEY ghcr.io/wyre-technology/connectwise-cpq-mcp:v1.0.4
  1. Replace YOUR_CPQ_ACCESS_KEY,YOUR_CPQ_PUBLIC_KEY,YOUR_CPQ_PRIVATE_KEY with your own values.
  2. Start Claude Code and type /mcp: the server is listed with its state.

The server starts, but its tools fail
A YOUR_… placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong.
