Install Ncloud in Cursor
What you need first
- Cursor, installed.
- Node.js, which
gives the
npxcommand the server starts with. - Your own values for
YOUR_NCLOUD_ACCESS_KEY,YOUR_NCLOUD_SECRET_KEY.
Steps
- Open
~/.cursor/mcp.json, or create it. For one project only, use.cursor/mcp.jsonin that project. - Add this block. If the file already has
mcpServers, add only the entry inside it.
{
"mcpServers": {
"ncloud": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "[email protected]"],
"env": { "NCLOUD_ACCESS_KEY": "YOUR_NCLOUD_ACCESS_KEY", "NCLOUD_SECRET_KEY": "YOUR_NCLOUD_SECRET_KEY" }
}
}
} - Replace
YOUR_NCLOUD_ACCESS_KEY,YOUR_NCLOUD_SECRET_KEYwith your own values. - Save the file. In Cursor's settings, find the server in the MCP section and turn it on if it is off.
Check it worked
Ask Cursor: List the tools of ncloud.
If it does not start
- spawn npx ENOENT
- Node.js is not on the PATH that Cursor sees. Install it, or write the
full path of
npxin the config. - The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
