- Docker, which
gives the
dockercommand the server starts with. - Your own values for
YOUR_DB_PATH,YOUR_DB_PASSPHRASE.
Steps
- Open
~/.continue/config.yaml. On Windows it is%USERPROFILE%\.continue\config.yaml. - Add this entry. If the file already has
mcpServers, add only the item from- nameon.
mcpServers:
- name: "mcp-sqlite"
type: stdio
command: "docker"
args:
- "run"
- "-i"
- "--rm"
- "-e"
- "DB_PATH"
- "-e"
- "DB_PASSPHRASE"
- "ghcr.io/rosch100/mcp-sqlite:0.2.4"
env:
"DB_PATH": "YOUR_DB_PATH"
"DB_PASSPHRASE": "YOUR_DB_PASSPHRASE" - Replace
YOUR_DB_PATH,YOUR_DB_PASSPHRASEwith your own values. - Save the file and restart Continue.
Check it worked
Ask Continue: List the tools of mcp-sqlite.
If it does not start
- Cannot connect to the Docker daemon
- Docker is not running. Start it, then restart Continue.
- The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid YAML any more. Check that the entry is indented like the lines around it.
