Install Job Boards Data in Gemini CLI
What you need first
- Gemini CLI, installed.
- Nothing else: the server runs on its publisher's machines and Gemini CLI connects to it.
Steps
- Open
~/.gemini/settings.json, or create it. For one project only, use.gemini/settings.jsonin that project. - Add this block. If the file already has
mcpServers, add only the entry inside it.
{
"mcpServers": {
"job-boards": {
"httpUrl": "https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=highbrow_fame/welcome-to-the-jungle-jobs,highbrow_fame/stepstone-jobs,highbrow_fame/naukri-jobs,highbrow_fame/naukrigulf-jobs,highbrow_fame/jobstreet-jobsdb-jobs,highbrow_fame/xing-jobs,highbrow_fame/foundit-jobs,highbrow_fame/arbeitsagentur-jobs,highbrow_fame/infojobs-jobs,highbrow_fame/reed-jobs,highbrow_fame/remote-jobs-aggregator,highbrow_fame/hellowork-jobs,highbrow_fame/totaljobs-jobs,highbrow_fame/mycareersfuture-jobs,highbrow_fame/nofluffjobs-jobs"
}
}
} - Save the file and restart Gemini CLI.
Check it worked
Ask Gemini CLI: List the tools of job-boards.
If it does not start
- 401 Unauthorized
- The endpoint wants a sign-in or a key. Sign in when Gemini CLI asks.
- Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
