Install Zeus Dev Helper in BoltAI
What you need first
- BoltAI, installed.
- uv, which
gives the
uvxcommand the server starts with.
Steps
- Open
~/.codex/config.toml, or create it. The Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share this file. - Add this table at the end of the file.
{
"mcpServers": {
"zeus-dev-helper": {
"command": "uvx",
"args": ["zeus-dev-helper-mcp==0.7.11"]
}
}
} - Save the file and restart BoltAI.
Check it worked
Ask BoltAI: List the tools of zeus-dev-helper.
If it does not start
- spawn uvx ENOENT
- uv is not on the PATH that BoltAI sees. Install it, or write the
full path of
uvxin the config. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
