Install Gooo saved tool definitions in Codex
What you need first
- Codex, installed.
- Docker, which
gives the
dockercommand the server starts with.
Steps
- Run this in a terminal. It writes the server into
~/.codex/config.toml, which the Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share.
codex mcp add gooo-service-grant -- docker run -i --rm ghcr.io/kimjooyoon/gooo-service-grant-mcp@sha256:a015a049318235eed7429347aef232c71703ab4bb9931277f99e2c6e3218a82e- Start Codex again and type
/mcp: the server is listed.
Check it worked
Ask Codex: List the tools of gooo-service-grant.
If it does not start
- Cannot connect to the Docker daemon
- Docker is not running. Start it, then restart Codex.
