What you need first
- Agenvoy, installed.
- uv, which
gives the
uvxcommand the server starts with. - Your own values for

Steps
- Open
~/.codex/config.toml, or create it. The Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share this file. - Add this table at the end of the file.

"archery-mcp": {

}
}
} - Replace
YOUR_ARCHERY_BASE_URL,YOUR_ARCHERY_USERNAME,YOUR_ARCHERY_PASSWORD,YOUR_ARCHERY_INSTANCE_NAME,YOUR_ARCHERY_DB_NAMEwith your own values. - Save the file and restart Agenvoy.
Check it worked
Ask Agenvoy: List the tools of archery-mcp.
If it does not start
- spawn uvx ENOENT
- uv is not on the PATH that Agenvoy sees. Install it, or write the
full path of
uvxin the config. - The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
