Install Eventsorg in Augment Code
What you need first
- Augment Code, installed.
- Node.js, which
gives the
npxcommand the server starts with. - Your own values for
YOUR_GOOGLE_API_KEY,YOUR_TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID,YOUR_TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN,YOUR_TWILIO_PHONE_NUMBER.
Steps
- Open
~/.codex/config.toml, or create it. The Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share this file. - Add this table at the end of the file.
{
"mcpServers": {
"eventsorg-mcp": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "[email protected]"],
"env": { "GOOGLE_API_KEY": "YOUR_GOOGLE_API_KEY", "TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID": "YOUR_TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID", "TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN": "YOUR_TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN", "TWILIO_PHONE_NUMBER": "YOUR_TWILIO_PHONE_NUMBER" }
}
}
} - Replace
YOUR_GOOGLE_API_KEY,YOUR_TWILIO_ACCOUNT_SID,YOUR_TWILIO_AUTH_TOKEN,YOUR_TWILIO_PHONE_NUMBERwith your own values. - Save the file and restart Augment Code.
Check it worked
Ask Augment Code: List the tools of eventsorg-mcp.
If it does not start
- spawn npx ENOENT
- Node.js is not on the PATH that Augment Code sees. Install it, or write the
full path of
npxin the config. - The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
