Install mcp/aws-location-mcp-server in Devin Desktop

What you need first

  • Devin Desktop, installed.
  • Docker, which gives the docker command the server starts with.

Steps

  1. Open ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json, or create it. On Windows it is %APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json.
  2. Add this block. If the file already has mcpServers, add only the entry inside it.
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "mcp-aws-location-mcp-server": {
      "command": "docker",
      "args": ["run", "-i", "--rm", "docker.io/mcp/aws-location-mcp-server"]
    }
  }
}
  1. Save the file and restart Devin Desktop.
