- Open
~/.continue/config.yaml. On Windows it is%USERPROFILE%\.continue\config.yaml. - Add this entry. If the file already has
mcpServers, add only the item from- nameon.
mcpServers:
- name: "workflow-mcp"
type: stdio
command: "docker"
args:
- "run"
- "-i"
- "--rm"
- "-e"
- "OPENAI_API_KEY"
- "docker.io/juliusolsson/workflow-mcp@sha256:4b6889f9e78d0208e6d1d343ba23d0c5d092b1a1513a73c9c85deb2d00ab5855"
env:
"OPENAI_API_KEY": "YOUR_OPENAI_API_KEY" - Replace
YOUR_OPENAI_API_KEYwith your own value. - Save the file and restart Continue.
Check it worked
Ask Continue: List the tools of workflow-mcp.
If it does not start
- Cannot connect to the Docker daemon
- Docker is not running. Start it, then restart Continue.
- The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid YAML any more. Check that the entry is indented like the lines around it.
