What you need first
- Codex, installed.
- Docker, which
gives the
dockercommand the server starts with. - Your own value for

Steps
- Run this in a terminal. It writes the server into
~/.codex/config.toml, which the Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share.
codex mcp add mcp-server-abnormal --env ABNORMAL_API_TOKEN=YOUR_ABNORMAL_API_TOKEN -- docker run -i --rm -e ABNORMAL_API_TOKEN ghcr.io/gregdog/mcp-server-abnormal:v1.1.0 serve - Replace
YOUR_ABNORMAL_API_TOKENwith your own value. - Start Codex again and type
/mcp: the server is listed.
Check it worked

If it does not start
- Cannot connect to the Docker daemon

- The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
