Install Edge Actors: email verifier, DNS facts, URL to Markdown in Claude Desktop
What you need first
- Claude Desktop, installed.
- Nothing else: the server runs on its publisher's machines and Claude Desktop connects to it.
Steps
- In Claude Desktop, open Settings › Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Give it a name and paste this URL:
https://mcp.apify.com?tools=edgef-4/bulk-email-verifier,edgef-4/domain-dns-facts,edgef-4/url-to-markdown-for-ai-agents- If the server asks you to sign in, Claude Desktop opens its sign-in page.
Check it worked
Ask Claude Desktop: List the tools of edge-actors.
If it does not start
- 401 Unauthorized
- The endpoint wants a sign-in or a key. Sign in when Claude Desktop asks.
