Install Hexadata in Goose
What you need first
- Goose, installed.
- Nothing else: the server runs on its publisher's machines and Goose connects to it.
- Your own value for
YOUR_AUTHORIZATION.
Steps
- Open
~/.config/goose/config.yaml. On Windows it is%APPDATA%\Block\goose\config\config.yaml. - Add this entry. If the file already has
extensions, add only the entry inside it.
extensions:
"hexadata":
type: streamable_http
name: "hexadata"
enabled: true
uri: "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=hexadatalabs/eu-tenders-ted-scraper,hexadatalabs/sam-gov-opportunities-scraper,hexadatalabs/us-healthcare-providers-npi-scraper,hexadatalabs/uk-companies-house-scraper,hexadatalabs/mexico-business-directory-denue,hexadatalabs/occ-mundial-jobs-scraper,hexadatalabs/seccion-amarilla-business-scraper"
headers: { "Authorization": "YOUR_AUTHORIZATION" }
env_keys: []
envs: {}
timeout: 300 - Replace
YOUR_AUTHORIZATIONwith your own value. - Save the file and start a new Goose session.
Check it worked
Ask Goose: List the tools of hexadata.
If it does not start
- 401 Unauthorized
- The endpoint wants a sign-in or a key. Sign in when Goose asks, or check the value in place of the placeholder.
- The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid YAML any more. Check that the entry is indented like the lines around it.
