Install IMBA Agent Spend in Bob Shell

What you need first

• Bob Shell, installed.
• Nothing else: the server runs on its publisher's machines and Bob Shell connects to it.
• Your own values for YOUR_X_IMBA_AGENT_CLIENT_ID,YOUR_X_IMBA_AGENT_PRIVATE_KEY.

Steps

1. Open ~/.codex/config.toml, or create it. The Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share this file.
2. Add this table at the end of the file.

3. Replace YOUR_X_IMBA_AGENT_CLIENT_ID,YOUR_X_IMBA_AGENT_PRIVATE_KEY with your own values.
4. Save the file and restart Bob Shell.

Check it worked

Ask Bob Shell: List the tools of agent.

If it does not start

401 Unauthorized

The endpoint wants a sign-in or a key. Sign in when Bob Shell asks, or check the value in place of the placeholder.

The server starts, but its tools fail

A YOUR_… placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong.

Nothing changes after a restart

The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
