Install GRAFOMEM CGR Capture in Devin Desktop

What you need first

  • Devin Desktop, installed.
  • uv, which gives the uvx command the server starts with.
  • Your own values for YOUR_GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT_KEY,YOUR_GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT.

Steps

  1. Open ~/.config/devin/mcp_config.json, or create it. On Windows it is %APPDATA%\devin\mcp_config.json.
  2. Add this block. If the file already has mcpServers, add only the entry inside it.
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "cgr-capture": {
      "command": "uvx",
      "args": ["grafomem-cgr==0.1.0"],
      "env": { "GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT_KEY": "YOUR_GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT_KEY", "GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT": "YOUR_GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT" }
    }
  }
}
  1. Replace YOUR_GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT_KEY,YOUR_GRAFOMEM_CGR_TENANT with your own values.
  2. Save the file and restart Devin Desktop.

Check it worked

Ask Devin Desktop: List the tools of cgr-capture.

If it does not start

spawn uvx ENOENT
uv is not on the PATH that Devin Desktop sees. Install it, or write the full path of uvx in the config.
The server starts, but its tools fail
A YOUR_… placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong.
Nothing changes after a restart
The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
