Install Divine API - Indian / Vedic Astrology in Goose
What you need first
- Goose, installed.
- Nothing else: the server runs on its publisher's machines and Goose connects to it.
- Your own values for
YOUR_X_DIVINE_API_KEY,YOUR_X_DIVINE_AUTH_TOKEN.
Steps
- Open
~/.config/goose/config.yaml. On Windows it is%APPDATA%\Block\goose\config\config.yaml. - Add this entry. If the file already has
extensions, add only the entry inside it.
extensions:
"indian":
type: streamable_http
name: "indian"
enabled: true
uri: "https://mcp.divineapi.com/indian/mcp"
headers: { "X-Divine-Api-Key": "YOUR_X_DIVINE_API_KEY", "X-Divine-Auth-Token": "YOUR_X_DIVINE_AUTH_TOKEN" }
env_keys: []
envs: {}
timeout: 300 - Replace
YOUR_X_DIVINE_API_KEY,YOUR_X_DIVINE_AUTH_TOKENwith your own values. - Save the file and start a new Goose session.
Check it worked
Ask Goose: List the tools of indian.
If it does not start
- 401 Unauthorized
- The endpoint wants a sign-in or a key. Sign in when Goose asks, or check the value in place of the placeholder.
- The server starts, but its tools fail
- A
YOUR_…placeholder is still in the config, or its value is wrong. - Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid YAML any more. Check that the entry is indented like the lines around it.
