Install FDA Recall Alerts — Food & Product Safety (fdarecall) in Claude Desktop
What you need first
- Claude Desktop, installed.
- Nothing else: the server runs on its publisher's machines and Claude Desktop connects to it.
Steps
- In Claude Desktop, open Settings › Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Give it a name and paste this URL:
https://a2awire.com/mcp/data/fdarecall-fda-recall-enforcement-database-food-drug-device-80d7f6/http- If the server asks you to sign in, Claude Desktop opens its sign-in page.
Check it worked
Ask Claude Desktop: List the tools of data-fda-recall-alert-food-product-safety.
If it does not start
- 401 Unauthorized
- The endpoint wants a sign-in or a key. Sign in when Claude Desktop asks.
