  • 3d_lungs_segmentation_segment Legacy endpoint. Prefer `/segment_lungs_3d_tiff` for MCP clients because it returns both the downloadable mask and structured metadata. Upload a `.tif` or `.tiff` 3D volume with layout `(Z, Y, X)`. Returns a downloadable zlib-compressed uint8 TIFF mask where 1 is lung tissue and 0 is background. If a user passes a file as an input, use the upload_file_to_gradio tool, if present, to upload the file to the gradio app and create a Gradio File Input. Then use the returned path as the input to the tool
  • 3d_lungs_segmentation_segment_lungs_3d_tiff Recommended MCP tool for agentic clients. Provide one `.tif` or `.tiff` 3D volume as a Gradio File input. Public `http`/`https` TIFF URLs can be passed directly; local user files should be uploaded with the Gradio `upload_file_to_gradio` helper when the MCP client provides it. The expected array layout is `(Z, Y, X)`. The tool returns a downloadable zlib-compressed uint8 TIFF mask plus JSON metadata. Mask labels are 0 = background and 1 = lung tissue. This tool is intended for research workflows and is not for clinical diagnosis without expert validation. If a user passes a file as an input, use the upload_file_to_gradio tool, if present, to upload the file to the gradio app and create a Gradio File Input. Then use the returned path as the input to the tool
