Install Qwen3 Forced Aligner in Augment Code
What you need first
- Augment Code, installed.
- Nothing else: the server runs on its publisher's machines and Augment Code connects to it.
Steps
- Open
~/.codex/config.toml, or create it. The Codex CLI, its IDE extension and the ChatGPT desktop app share this file. - Add this table at the end of the file.
{
"mcpServers": {
"qwen3-forced-aligner": {
"type": "sse",
"url": "https://hugging-apps-qwen3-forced-aligner.hf.space/gradio_api/mcp/sse"
}
}
} - Save the file and restart Augment Code.
Check it worked
Ask Augment Code: List the tools of qwen3-forced-aligner.
It should list 1 tool.
If it does not start
- 401 Unauthorized
- The endpoint wants a sign-in or a key. Sign in when Augment Code asks.
- Nothing changes after a restart
- The file is not valid JSON any more. Look for a missing comma where the block was added.
