The clip that just finished is parked in the queue before this runs, so the number of parked clips is the position of the new one in the chain. It matters because the start frame is a generated frame rather than the uploaded picture, and the identity lock treats a disagreement on such a frame as drift to be corrected instead of as a stranger to be refused. If a user passes a file as an input, use the upload_file_to_gradio tool, if present, to upload the file to the gradio app and create a Gradio File Input.
