Finance Research MCP co.huggingface.sreenathvemula/financemcp Search the filings and earnings calls of the S&P 500 + AI chain by meaning and keywords and get about 40 CANDIDATE passages (10-K: last 3 fiscal years; 10-Q: last 6; calls: last 12; proxy statements DEF 14A, 8-K earnings releases and material agreements; foreign private issuers' 20-F and 6-K). Each candidate: chunk_id, ticker, document type and date, fiscal period, section or speaker (management / analyst), and an excerpt of about 320 characters chosen for the query. The candidates are NOT ranked by relevance (BM25 and dense retrieval fused by rank, no reranker): YOU judge them, open the promising ones with doc_read(chunk_id), and quote only from what you have read. When the results are weak, reformulate: use the company's own terms, name the period, add tickers / doc_types / items filters. Ask the question in plain words: a named company becomes a filter, 'June 2026 call', 'Q2 2026', 'latest', 'what changed in the 10-K' narrow or prefer the right documents (the header line says which | doc_types,items,k,query,since,speaker_role,tickers,until | Not stated |
