A text-based chat client that runs in the terminal and talks to local Ollama models as well as OpenAI, Anthropic and other hosted providers. MCP servers are declared in its config.json under mcpServers. Local servers run over stdio. Remote servers are reached by URL over Streamable HTTP or SSE, with optional HTTP headers for bearer tokens. Tools from each server can be switched on per chat.

How to add a server to oterm

Find the server you want on plug.directory and open its page.
In its install block, pick oterm. The block shows the config and where it goes.
Put the config in config.json in oterm's data folder (~/Library/Application Support/oterm on macOS, ~/.local/share/oterm on Linux, %APPDATA%\oterm on Windows). Then check the server's tools in oterm, as its docs describe.
