MCP Inspector

Model Context Protocol ยท Web app, Terminal

Official site

MCP Inspector is the Model Context Protocol project's own tool for testing and debugging MCP servers, run with npx as a browser interface, a scriptable CLI or a terminal UI. Servers are kept in a catalog file under an mcpServers object keyed by name, or passed for one session with --config. Local servers run over stdio and remote ones over Streamable HTTP or SSE, with custom headers and OAuth.
