eechat is a desktop chat app that keeps conversations on the device and runs local models or connects to API providers. MCP tools are added through a form that can read a tool's README, or in a built-in JSON editor that accepts configurations written for Claude Desktop, Cursor and Cline; bundled bun and uv runtimes start the tools, which can then be switched on in chat.
