Atomic Chat is a free, open-source app for running open-weight models on your own computer or phone; it began as a fork of Jan. MCP servers are added in Settings by pasting a server config into the Add MCP Server dialog, with no restart needed. Local servers run over stdio and remote hosted servers are reached over HTTP or SSE.
